Chelveston Meetings & Starnights:
Chelveston Village Hall
Our meetings at Chelveston Village Hall take place on the third Monday of each month from 8.00pm. They
follow a similar format to our meetings at Sudborough in that the meeting will see a presentation from
either a visiting guest speaker or from amongst our membership, followed by an observing session
outside if the sky is clear. Admission to the meeting is £1.
In addition, we also use Chelveston Village Hall as the venue for our Friday evening 'Starnight'* observing
sessions. These take place every clear Friday evening (except around the time of full Moon) and again
start at 8.00pm. Admission to the 'Starnights' are open to all members and friends and is free. Tea,
Coffee and biscuits are available (to keep the night chill at bay!).
(* Please note that our observing sessions are currently taking a break during the twilight evenings.
They will return after the summer)
